If you have spotted a bike that you know or suspect is stolen, please let us know.
We use What3Words to get an accurate location on all reports, as this allows us to pinpoint the location of the bike and avoids us misunderstanding the location that is reported to us. What3Words is free to use and gives a far more accurate location than any other system. It is based on 3 words generated covering a 3mx3m square. Please make sure you give us the words correctly.
We ask that you try to give us the VIN number, as this helps us narrow down whether or not the motorcycle is on a fake registration and allows us to identify it immediately.
The VIN on large (>125cc) motorcycles is generally stamped on the frame on the right hand side, where the handlebar "meets" the fuel tank. On mopeds, it's usually above the rear wheel, where the top of the rear shock absorber meets the frame above the wheel. It should be a black metal plate with the numbers etched into it.
